Dexter Connoiseur 12" chef knife from the old production. This forged stainless line from Dexter was made to compete with the European stainless knives that were gaining in popularity in the 1950's and 60's. This is the classic Dexter knife design with the flat heel and wide front, they also made French style round ferrule/bolster knives. 

Knife has not been to heavily used, it's edge needed to be sharpened and adjusted in the heel a bit, handle is nice and secure and is ready to get back to work.
